Truth & Mutresse Giveaway !

I started to think about giving something back to my readers so that made me think to a giveaway contest. I tought maybe I should wait for a special day like bloggaversarry or rezzday but everyday is a special day when I see my blog growing so beautiful. 

I went to buy gift cards from two of my favorite stores, at Truth because each girl needs gorgeous hairstyle and Mutresse a store I can't praise enough about their awesome mesh clothes and shoes,one of my favorite in Second Life. I have one Truth Gift Card with 500 L$ and one Mutresse Gift Card with 500 L$ for one lucky winner.

I love Turnip for creating the Skydome and I already had Winter Collection Textures but in less then 5 minutes after reading the notecard I was down the store buying Fall Collection Textures and Every Season Birch Trees. Unfortunatelly this message came after I already did this photos I am going to post bellow so I can't really show you the trees and the textures for my Skydome that I bought. I advice you to go take a look at the store and maybe you can find other interesting home&decor stuff on sale beside what I told you about. 

In this home & decor post I used Scarlet Creative's ' Work Live Loft Skybox ' that was at previous Collabor 88 event. It was cheap, indeed. Only 88 L$ but I would have payed a lot more for this home, it is one of my favorites and I just feel very cozy and a lot like home.

Little Red Dress !

First of all I want to say something: My name is Roxi Bluewood and I am an addict, it has been over 2 weeks since I am wearing the same hairstyle. I am addicted to Maleficent from Lelutka and I can wear it with everything. Also last night Tres Blah and Lark left me almost pennyless and I hope I will have enough time to show you in a future post how many stuff I bought. Till then I am leaving a list with my doubles and what I need from The Arcade.

I love this gorgeous dress from Mutresse that is available at Fameshed and Maggie heels from fri.day are just perfect. This dress is called Stilna and it comes with a HUD to change colors. What can you expect from a Mutresse product? Great quality with many features at a reasonable price, I belive anyone can afford this products. Nude is one of my favorite colors in mather of accesories because it works with everything and is so easy to match that is why I chose this perfect fri.day add-on heels and LaGyo Matilda set of necklace and earrings wich are also on a nude base with little precious stones and pearls. 

For this photos I used Strawberry Singh's free Photo Studio. It is 100% mesh and you can change colors, white,black,green and grey, also in the package you will receive a posestand, a simple stand pose and a notecard with instructions. Thank you Berry for this awesome gift !

"Avatar Look Alikes Challenge" by Strawberry Singh

For Berry's new challenge I have to say this: no one told me that my avi looks like someone and I never try to make my avi to look like someone from real life. As for the Celebrity Look A like Generator it seems I look like Eva Mendez :)). I create and modify my shape in order to fit a skin but my body is almost everytime the same ( it's an ideal for me in rl ). I change my face everytime I want a new feature to be distinct. I tried once to do a Natalie Portman shape but I failed so I gave up creating shapes based on real people. I would like to know people's opinion on who my avatar looks like so if you have something in mind let me know.


Fake has released a new line called "Violet" and it is fabulous. Personally when I check a skin for the first time I look at lips, eyebrows and skin tone; Bonnie made some gorgeous eyebrows with a natural look and preciouss lips on Violet. It is by far my favorite line from Fake. 

Kostum 9 it's a cute little event and the second round just started a few days ago. There are several brands that offers cute stuff at a low price. My favorites of this round is this large pearl necklace from Modern Couture and Librarian Clutch from Le Primitif. 

My new favorite pair of pants are "My Cotton Jean" from Monso and they are available at Fameshed for November round. They come in two versions for boots and normal and several colours to choose from; I am wearing navy as it's one of the colours I love. Why they are my new favorites? Well that's quite simple: high quality and great butt :)

For this round of Fameshed I absolutely love the new "Piki" sweater from Mustresse because it's so cozy and sweet; it comes in 7 pure color designs, 7 stripe designs, 7 wave designs and 7 line designs.There are 10 texts to choose from and a no text option.

Nostalgia

And once again another Hair Fair has closed it's doors. This is the third edition I took part of and I am a little nostalgic to see how the time has past and how was the first Hair Fair I participated. Things has evolved so much and I can't help myself wondering what brings the future to us SL-ers. For this topic I am sorry I couldn't blog more hair styles in a fashionably time but 2 weeks it's just not enough.

Monso is one of my favorite store from SL because of the quality and originality wich Morphine puts into her creations. Now she released a pair of studded shorts in different colors, with or without materials option and a hud to change the studs texture.

Hai darlings ! When I find a new feature for PS ( well not that new ) I am worried to use it because I always fear that I will over do it and ruin a good photo. When I start using photoshop last year I took a look on Berry's blog to see a few tutorials and she talked about exposure too but I was affraid to try it. This fears comes from my insecuritty of not knowing the unknowed; yes this is strange but what can I do ? Easy , I will try it after my fear goes away.

So after 8 months I finally tryed exposure and I really like the effect but as I am very subjective when it comes to myself I will ask, actually pretty ask you guys to let me know if it's appealing to you or I over processed the photo.

Heya !! So many news that I couldn`t show you till now ( exams !! ) from Fameshed, Collabor88 and some other goodies from Fanatik and Mustresse.

This being said I practically credit almost my entire outfit and decor scene but wait I also wear a gorgeous skin with the cutest freckles I've seen in sl. And guess what? it`s on sale for Valentines Day. Well I must confess I am not a big fan of this hollyday wich celebrates love, maybe I am a cinic because I love Christmas but I don`t feel it`s the same. I mean everyone it`s getting all crazy to buy silly bears and hearts and other things for their loved one, or singles getting depressed cause they are ... single. I want to skip this day but it`s so hard when every shop window it's full of pink/red hearts and everyone it`s talking about it, even my boyfriend expects me to buy something for him :| .

Hey sweets ! Oh men I am in full session of exams at university ( that explains why I worked on this photos for 5 days ) . Please bare with me this month cause it will be a little wild and also slow.

So this being said, I have news from Trompe Loeil and Cold Winter Nights Hunt ( check credits ). And I descovered a new store in sl and I bought a pair of wedges so gorgeous, I must say that I have a pair like that in rl and I love them. The store is called Mutresse and I bet it will become one of the favorites in sl cause they really have good quality and original mesh.

Oh and finally I went to Collabor88 and I bought this sweet sweater from u.f.o and a beret from LaGyo.
