"The Winter Season Challenge" by Strawberry Singh

After Saint Nic I started to feel the Christmas spirit, as I started to make major cleaning in my house I was listening Magic FM, a radio station wich plays only Christmas songs. Each day I was cleaning and caroling in english, I have to say though I am not a native english speacker I am proud to tell you guys I know almost every carol in english :D. We had our first snow but it lasted only a few hours because the sun melted all so I am a little sad and I can't wait to have big amounts of snow !!

Being involved in a long relationship has it's advantages and disadvantages as any thing on this world, now it's like having two families and I have to devide in two places. That being said I have to help cleaning in two homes, I have to visit my familly and his familly and this means little time for blogging. From now on will be a very busy time for me but I will blog each time I can.

1. What is the December/Winter season like where you live? - In the last years it was very cold, some days rainy and very little snow, but I remember when I was a kid here was always snow and each Christmas was white. I have this theory that the seasons are changing because it's freezing and snowing only in january,february and march ..

2. When you think of winter, what’s the first thing that pops into your head? - Magic and Santa Claus. I do belive in Santa Claus's Spirit and secretly I wish Santa does exist :D

3. Have you ever played any extreme winter sports? - Once I put myself on a snowboard but how can I explain this? I was on my butt on the snowboard and I went down the mountain like that. Simple as a ride on a slade :)).

4. What do you like most about this season? - Snow and Christmas. And this will be the third year when we go on a mountain cabin, so basically there will be 6 nights of New Year's Eve for us. Oh and I also like this hollydays because people are making lots of food and there is a good reason to drink hot wine with cinnamon :D.

5. Do you celebrate Christmas, Hannukkah, Kwanzaa or another holiday during this time of year? - Christmas <3

"Avatar Look Alikes Challenge" by Strawberry Singh

For Berry's new challenge I have to say this: no one told me that my avi looks like someone and I never try to make my avi to look like someone from real life. As for the Celebrity Look A like Generator it seems I look like Eva Mendez :)). I create and modify my shape in order to fit a skin but my body is almost everytime the same ( it's an ideal for me in rl ). I change my face everytime I want a new feature to be distinct. I tried once to do a Natalie Portman shape but I failed so I gave up creating shapes based on real people. I would like to know people's opinion on who my avatar looks like so if you have something in mind let me know.


Fake has released a new line called "Violet" and it is fabulous. Personally when I check a skin for the first time I look at lips, eyebrows and skin tone; Bonnie made some gorgeous eyebrows with a natural look and preciouss lips on Violet. It is by far my favorite line from Fake. 

Kostum 9 it's a cute little event and the second round just started a few days ago. There are several brands that offers cute stuff at a low price. My favorites of this round is this large pearl necklace from Modern Couture and Librarian Clutch from Le Primitif. 

My new favorite pair of pants are "My Cotton Jean" from Monso and they are available at Fameshed for November round. They come in two versions for boots and normal and several colours to choose from; I am wearing navy as it's one of the colours I love. Why they are my new favorites? Well that's quite simple: high quality and great butt :)

For this round of Fameshed I absolutely love the new "Piki" sweater from Mustresse because it's so cozy and sweet; it comes in 7 pure color designs, 7 stripe designs, 7 wave designs and 7 line designs.There are 10 texts to choose from and a no text option.

And once again another Hair Fair has closed it's doors. This is the third edition I took part of and I am a little nostalgic to see how the time has past and how was the first Hair Fair I participated. Things has evolved so much and I can't help myself wondering what brings the future to us SL-ers. For this topic I am sorry I couldn't blog more hair styles in a fashionably time but 2 weeks it's just not enough.

Monso is one of my favorite store from SL because of the quality and originality wich Morphine puts into her creations. Now she released a pair of studded shorts in different colors, with or without materials option and a hud to change the studs texture.

Haaai ! I hope you already went to Hair Fair cause there are tons of awesome hair styles. At first I wanted to do a top but I changed my mind and I will show you a few posts with my favorites so each one can get the attention it deserves. My favorite from this year is a simple, straight  hair, One by Herve Faenzo, that has stolen my heart for ever.

In my opinion is the perfect straight,long hair with perfect texture of ombre and the exact amount of shine. I belive this is Herve Faenzo's first release of hair and the quality and beauty rises to the highest expectation I could ever have. It may sound like an advertise but I can assure you this words come from my excitement wich this hair makes me since I bought it.

Hai darlings ! When I find a new feature for PS ( well not that new ) I am worried to use it because I always fear that I will over do it and ruin a good photo. When I start using photoshop last year I took a look on Berry's blog to see a few tutorials and she talked about exposure too but I was affraid to try it. This fears comes from my insecuritty of not knowing the unknowed; yes this is strange but what can I do ? Easy , I will try it after my fear goes away.

So after 8 months I finally tryed exposure and I really like the effect but as I am very subjective when it comes to myself I will ask, actually pretty ask you guys to let me know if it's appealing to you or I over processed the photo.

Long time has passed, well only a month I belive, but it seems much more. I feel guilty and I miss so much my blog so I decided it's time to explain why I have been away this time. In the past month I got a new job, my final exams are aproaching really fast and I am on the way of graduating university, also in my personal life has been some changes.

Though I am very exhausted right now I couldn't postpone this because I don't want you to think that I am quiting. No way ! I am here to stay because I love too much this blog and I have invested real feelings an passion in it. I will still be very busy in rl for the next month with exams and stuff but I will try to make a slow come back till I finish them and after that I will be able to post as regular as I did before.

My 10 SL Firsts Meme

So I busted my cable from internet and I had to stick it with scotch on my laptop otherwise I keep loosing connection ! Last week was not a good one from many points of view but slowly things are getting better. I always had this impression that when a bad thing comes it never comes alone, they come as a link of several troubles.

One thing that I love beside fashion in SL is that I am able to put some of my toughts here otherwise I would keep them in me till I explode. Of course I would love to be more talented and know how to put my toughts in actual words but for the moment it's pretty good as it is.

Oh look Berry has a new meme. Ok I am so going to do every single one ! 

1. First SL Friend: It was Georgia and two crazy neko girls who owned the club I was talking about in Procrastination Meme. They don't log in anymore. 

2. First SL Kiss: I can think as hard and deep but I can't remember. 

3 First Slex time/place/partner: Aren't you too nosy Miss Berry? I am not going to share that but I will say I only did it once. So I probably got my virginity in SL back :))

4. First SL Partner/Girlfriend/Boyfriend/Wife/Husband: I can't remember wich was my first boyfriend, actually I did flirt a lot back but I never use the words "boyfriend/girlfriend". As for my first partner it was last year in this period I think but only lasted a few weeks ( I get bored easily ) and also I never made a wedding or so. I find it a little ridiculous. 

5. First SL Job: I worked as a host at Kitty Kat Klub owned by look #1. :))

6. First SL Creation: I made a witch hat in pink lol. After that I never created anything else, I suck at this.

7. First encounter with a Linden: Never meat one.

8. First encounter with a Slebrity: In February 2013 I meat in person the one and only you. I was so excited that I mostly stand there and watch like a dork. I didn't dare to say something! 

9. First SL Sim you fell in love with: It was Izzie's !

10. First SL Blog Post: Oh gosh ! Do I really need to make myself ashamed of my bad skills? Ok here it is my very first post.

My SL Pet Peeves Meme

I usually try to not get involved with drama, fights and negative toughts but from time to time I feel I am being draged into and I feel it's not fair. I don't want to talk bad about anyone or hurt people because I know how that can affect you and yesterday I had such a bad day and I tought Berry' s new meme will help me get off all this negativitty inside me.

On a second tought I didn't feel it's alright to spill out all the feelings I have gathered in that state of mind so I decided to just wait a day when I will have my judgement clear.

1. Toxic Friends: When I did my first meme about Procrastination I didn't mention "the closest friend" not because I don't have friends, I do, but I didn't felt there is "the closest". And guess what? I was deleted by two of my friends in SL because I didn't mention them. Really? Are you that desperate for attention? 

That is tacky and I am sick of giving explanations and justify every word and if someone reacts like that means they are no friends. I am sick and tired of toxic friendships were is no respect and you are draged in dramas. If I would wanted to be a drama queen I could be but that is not me. I respect everyone and I demand the same treat, if not well we can just go on different paths but I will always leave a place for a "good day".

2. "Bitchy Profiles": I sometimes read people's profiles who are arround me but when I see some of them with bad attitudes and "I am cool, you are not / I am a bitch / Don't mess with me cause I am going to kill you, beat you, etc "  I always think: "Really? Who cares how bad you are? " . I sure don't care if you describe your bad ass in a profile, it doesn't mean it's also true, it just means you are a little scared girl who tries to be someone else. Oh and the quotes like that are the same on the most of the so call "bitches" in SL.  Stop trying to look bad and try to be yourself. 

3. Bloggers who don't use Antialiasing: For God's sake go to Preferences -> Graphics -> Hardware Settings -> check that little box were is Anisotropic Filtering -> And choose Antialiasing at least on 2X. If you are new in blogging I will understand you haven't got all the tips yet but if you are an older blogger like over 1 year that is not an excuse. 

4. No Demo?/ 1L$: I bought once from a store were there was no demo for shoes, I will never do that again. Those shoes were bad quality and I regret paying for them and I will never go back to that store again. Also if you are charging me 1 L$ for a demo I will pass on trying your products and probably if you got good stuff I will never know.

5. Spam Gestures: If you spam all over the local chat with "Paaaaaaarty" doesn't mean it really is a party or people are really having the best time of their lives. Why don't you just try to start a conversation? It can turn out to be a better "party" and you can actually laugh.

Social Media Meme

Berry has come up with another meme about Social Media and I will join my planned blogpost with this meme. It's quite interesting this ideea because made me actually read posts from other bloggers and I can get to know them better. At the beggining sometimes I just made photos and drop some credits when I wasn't inspired on my writting and let's face it I am not that good at grammar so that always makes me worry I will make horrible misspelling and everybody will notice.

But for a long time know I write on each post whatever I feel without the fear and with this tought in my mind: only by practicing I will get better. When I created this blog I knew I wanted to use english because it's universal language wich most of the people knows it.

Wich network is your favorite ?

Well since I only use 2 I will have to say both, each of them have different characteristics that I like. Plurk because I can socialise and reach people as I couldn't do it in SL and Flickr because I can share my work and also see other's work very easy.

Wich network is your least favorite ?

I can't really understand why is facebook and others networks necessary since this two I have known are awesome but now I keep thinking maybe I should try too. I don't know maybe I'll have a blast or maybe I'll get borred. Sometimes is hard to deal with so many ways of networking.

Wich network do you have the most amount of connections ?

On my laptop -> it's my life ( before having this laptop I was telling my phone it's my life )

What are your favorite social network apps? ( if applicable )

I have Plurka and Flickr on my phone but I use them very rare.

What do you like most about social networking sites ?

The fact that I can socialize, share and see other' s people work,toughts and beliefs. Also I can find out stuff that I may miss in world.

What do you like least aboust social networking sites ?

Drama and rude people. Many times when I wanted to say something bad about someone or something I've changed my mind and reffrain myself from writting it down because it's a bad habbit and I want to get ride of it and I also don't want to be the same like other people. I am the nice girl whom if you will talk ugly with her, she will ignore it ( well not always because I am a human and I can defend myself and be bad too, but I prefer not to )

Do you feel social networks are good way to promote you/your brand/your work ?

Yes !! it's a good marketing tool if you know how to use it and not abuse it. 

What is your main reason for using Social Networks ?

First when I joined Flickr was just for sharing pictures with my friends on SL and they didn't have a drop of fashion/blog/anything else, it was just a "facebook" for SL. Now of course is for promoting my work but also for the fun of being part of a community.

Hi !! Yesterday I took pics with my brand new Hybrid Nea Mesh Avatar wich will be available at Skin Fair and tomorow it is the grand opening so you won't have to wait to long to get your own sweet and fresh face.

First of all, as I am a stalker of Gogo' s blog I saw she made a post quite similar with what I had in mind and just to clarify I didn`t copy her look, I already taken the photos but as this saying the world is quite small and oh well ... briliant minds think the same :D.

Blogging with Maribel Button !!

Hey Hey !! Today it`s a first for me, after one year of blogging I got a little bit of courage and I asked a blogger that I admire so much to make some photos together. And I have to thank Harvest Denzo for her challenge because that was the impulse that made me ask Maribel Button to be my partner in a blog post.
At first was so weird for me because the fact that I never did this before, Maribel was also a stranger for me, I only knew her from her blog, however she was so nice with me by asking me everytime if I like that backround,pose or whatever, she showed me a lot of patience while I was crashing after taking a photo.
I am always stunned about the goodness of a person, maybe because I often read what some people write, so dramatical and so "queeny", but she is so beautiful inside and outside. I haven`t told you Maribel, maybe because I find my words so hard when a person it`s right in front of me, but you are beside a great blogger also a great human being, I felt so shy in your presence but I hope this is a start of a friendship.
